Spring is the best time of year to find exciting migrants mixed with both winter and breeding season bird species. It is also the time of year when birds are most vocal. There will be a particular focus on listening to and learning the songs and calls of our many bird species, especially Warblers.

There will be a two-hour walk followed by discussion and review of our species list with coffee and snacks.

A pair of binoculars is essential for this class. This is a farm so be prepared to chase birds through briars and mud. Sensible shoes recommended as well as a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray.
