Our teacher, Katie Sutton, studied ecology and geology at Sewanee, and has been an artist and environmental educator for many years, and is now a farmhand at Sequatchie Cove Farm. She is an avid nature journaler and backpacker as well. Art supplies will be provided as well as some snacks and tea, but feel free to pack your kids some other snacks.
Parents welcome to tag along! At the end of the class, we will have a mini art show of our creations from the day for parents to enjoy before taking art home.
